Options for taking time away

If you need to take time away from work to care for yourself, to care for someone else, or for another reason, there are several options available. Review the information below to learn about the types of leave available, to complete applicable forms, and to prepare for your time out of the office. Options may vary based on your eligibility.

 

Changes to 离开 Plan Designation Terminology

The University’s leave and disability plans have historically been linked to an employee’s pay grade. To align with our new job structure launched on January 31, 2024, the University’s paid leave policies have been updated with new terminology used to designate leave plans. The plans remain the same and there is no impact to staff.

作为新晋父母, you have different leave options available to you to care for and bond with your child. Depending on your circumstances, these may include Short-Term 残疾, 带薪探亲假, and Family Medical 离开 (FMLA). Get help understanding your options.
